Anyone having an Open Roux-En-Y procedure?
I have my surgery in 10 days and have had to tell my work that I will be off longer than expected. Most everyone I know has had their surgery with the laproscope, but my surgeon only does it open. He is the best in the region so I am willing to this his way. I have had c-sections and did all right after those, but was curious how much different it is going to be with an upper abdomen incision. Only time will tell, I know, but thought I would see if there is anyone else having an open procedure.
At least you won't have the gas to deal with like the laproscopic surgeries do.
Good luck with yours.
