Your spirit just spoke to me through this post as all of your worries are mine and I feel so much better knowing I am not the pnly one who is feeling this. My Surgery is in 2 days. I can not believe it! WOW, u received a surgery date in less than 30 days??? mine took almost a year! I am getting the DS which essentially is the VSG as a first stage as our stomachs will look the same BUT my intestines are going to be re-routed in a second stage of surgery. BC of my size I have to be prepared to walk away with the VSG and I am so fine with that as long as I can walk away from this surgery. I hope we can go through this journey together as we are both around the same weight class.

Having surgery Jan 7th  i know i made the right choice 10000000% but i'm 26 and a single mom of 2  , 8 year old and 1 year old , and it just hit me like a ton of bricks that something could go wrong , i'm  healthy other than the morbid obesity , no co morbitidies , never smoked , so my surgeon told me i'm the perfect candidate but still kinda have that little voice back there still worried ..... any of you got really nervous or am i the only one.. lol

My goal for this year is to 1) run a good 5K with my dad, and sister in July, 2) start eating more health (even with surgery you still should watch what you are eating), 3) Be able to wear a tank top when I go down to Flordia in June and look good in it! :), that is it for now who knows I might add more.  I am looking forward to a great New Year!
