I don't know either of those doctors but I just wanted to wish you luck tomorrow with your surgery!! Keep us informed. My surgery is next Monday so I hope you'll post before then!!!

hi i'm just looking for information on what they do and ask at those apointment ?
my first apointment is at 10:30 am meeting the anesthesiologist
and my sencind with the dietician is at 1pm

if you've had surgery in Utica NY with dr. graber or dr fitzer

I had the same problem. I had a headache for about 3 days. I tried a "touch" of caffeine (about 2 ounces that I mixed with heated up milk), I tried some Tylenol, etc. Headache waxed and waned. I felt better after the 3 days but it was frustrating. Haven't had a headache since though - hope yours eases quickly.

To have found you people!

I didn't even know this board existed! My name is Jabreel (Honeybare) and I'm scheduled to have my surgery 1/26/2010. I can't believe its happening, and I want to talk about all my emotions constantly, and ask questions and, and, and....I'm just happy I have somewhere to do that with people that are going to the same thing I am, at this very moment!!!

All nutritionist are different. I would love to have eaten what you ate this morning, lol.

I'm on Slimfast.....3-4 of them a day and 1 Lean Cuisine meal. I think I'm going to die.

I think the reason they want you to do it with protein shakes and stuff is because you won't get all the added stuff like extra carbs and stuff like that. Like you know, you can eat mean high in protein but it may be high in fat or something like that. I don't know, I'm just guessing.

Good Luck though! I think we all need it!

I'm freaking out because I just found this board, and then freaking out because I felt the same way!

I started my diet too yesterday, and had a headache before I went to sleep. I woke up with it this morning too. I'm a diabetic, so I was thinking that maybe I just needed food. So, like a dummy this afternoon, I bought a cheeseburger and fries from Mickey D's, and after a couple of bites it went away, but the food tasted horrible. So, I guess I've learned my lesson. Nothing really tastes the same, and I'm on Slimfast, sugar free drinks, water and 1 Lean Cuisine meal a day.

I've resigned to the fact that I'll be okay. I think its just our bodies processing less sugar, carbs, etc. etc.

I'm so ready for this to be over!

My surgery is scheduled for the 25th also. Im excited and really nervous. For the first time today, I have a renewed sense of hope. I hope everything goes well for everyone!
