I am having the VSG procedure done on 1/18/10. I am excited, but lots of questions, fears, and other things keep flooding my mind. I know this is normal. Anyone else having surgery in Morgantown, WV that time?

Pam,

CONGRATS. Take it slow and walk as you can. I am so proud of you . I had the surgery in 05 and I remember it was scary. If you need help I am here.

I wish you the best of luck! I am on a high protein, low carb diet right now. You will get through it! I know it, it will all worth it at the end! By the third day I was doing much better at this diet stuff. I have never been good and diets but I am looking a head at all the stuff that I will be able to do this summer!

My surgery is two days before yours! So let me know how things are going!

I wish you luck! I will be there soon! I can't wait! My doctors does not have me on any protein shakes until one week post-op. I thought that was different compared to what I have heard on the posting but he has been doing this long enough that I will follow it.

i' m so happy it's done and over with getting better having a little trouble with drinking all my water , and the protein shales stuff me right up i dirnk jsut half an ounce and i cant drink no more..lol well wish everyone goood luck and see you all soon on the other side

Just got home today! I had RY a little sore. The first couple of days are rough, but get past those and you will be fine.

Just a few days away!! I was suppose to have mine the 11th, but I have a UTI and cannot have mine for atleast another week, but I am still really excited!! Good luck and I hope you recovery is speedy, keep me posted!!
