Hello everyone. My name is Sharon. I have 4 kids and have been married for 14 years. We live in Ky and Dr. Steiner was my surgeon. I had surgery on Jan 4. It wasn't so bad in the hospital but once I came home it was horrible.I keep getting sick to my stomach and weak whenever I get up.Still trying to get my fliuds in.Getting more in everyday. Still have to sleep on the recliner cause it hurts to lay all the way down. I am doing a ton better though. I have passed the I want to die phase.I have already lost over 14lbs since the 1st of Jan. My wieght is now under 200. I step on the scale just about every time I go into the bathroom to see that needle not hit the 200.I am so ready to just start living again.

I'm new here but had my surgery on the 4th as well. Came home on Wed. Had a few really bad days. Starting to feel better. Have gone to the bathroom but still have plenty of gas.Get weak when I get up still. Still taking mostly liquids, and not many of those at the moment. getting more in each day though.Had 4 bites of eggs with cheese last night. they went down alright and stayed down.So yeah one food I know I can eat.Still can't sleep in my bed but crossing my fingers either tonight or tomorrow I can.

Its so nerve racking! Lol. Dont think I can sleep tonite.

I will be on the other side soon, my surgery is next Friday.  Glad you are doing well, wish me luck!

Hi Nichole I'm just like you I just don't have my date yet they did send up my paper work with the insurance information so hopefully soon I will get an answer the office said they are pretty sure they will say yes for the vsg cause they have another people in the same office what are also getting the vsg.

the only fears i have is the surgery and gaining back the weight after surgery...
