Sugar Free popsicles have SAVED me!  haha  Tomorrow I'm getting my port out, and will weigh in there for the first time.  Anybody weigh themselves yet?  I decided to wait until the doctor, and then I'll weigh myself at home to see how they compare.  I'm crossing my fingers there's a good number.  I FEEL like I've lost, but I'm afraid to hope.  You know, in case I'm the ONLY ONE who ever had this surgery who doesn't lose!  

I'm on Day 6 of this ridiculous diet. I have 8 more days of this ridiculous diet. So far I'm pretty much hating life. It's pretty sad that at this point I am looking forward to when I can eat again more than the surgery. lol Is anyone else having a hard time getting these shakes down? I called the nutritionist and she said no more cheating with a slice of cheese. Major bummer. Although she told me to try this clear protein drink called Isopur. I am going to get some tonight and see if that helps. Keeping my fingers crossed. The 22nd can't get here soon enough!

My Big Day is this Friday, the 15th.  I am so scared, nervous, excited.  I have never had any major proceedures before and I am very concerned about how I will personally take it.  I am hoping that I am a "fast healer".  I am having the bypass and am also on a clear liquid diet.  I really want to get to surgery just so I won't be hungery anymore!

I am still on the DAMN liquid diet and will be forever I fear...lol... I have my 2 week post op appt on Monday the 18th pray he says I can have something more than liquid? I get applesauce ONLY to take my muscle relaxer :( I was so desperate today I took a bite of chicken and swished it around in my mouth than spit it out. Just to have the taste and feeling.

Wow...i thought waiting 3 days was rough. lol I'm gonna be a MESS by 20 days. Praying you get approval. Yah, my doc wouldn't even schedule the surgery until I get approval..hmm
