You made it! Congrats. Best of luck to you. It's like I keep telling my mom, if I can make it though the two week diet, I can make it through anything! ;)

Topic: Isopur, anyone tried it?
So I am on day 7 of me liquid diet. It's a lot easier now than on day 1. My only problem is I physically can't get these protein shakes down. Yesterday and the day before I was only able to drink 1 shake. Today I haven't had any. Jus****er. My stomach rumbles every once in a while but that's all. I called the nutritionist yesterday and told her what's going on. She says no more cheese or lunch meat. :( When I told her I've only had one shake a day she told me to try Isopur. I guess it's a clear juice like drink that is loaded with protein. Has anyone tried this? She also said that there is a small chance that if I don't get my protein in, then my liver will not shrink enough. Has anyone else heard this???? It really concerns me.

My surgery is 8:30 am tomorrow, I cannot believe that the week passed so quickly!  The 14 day luquid diet sucked but quite frankly, I will be on it for another 2 weeks after surgery!
Praying for the Dr. and the hospital staff and my stay and wish you all the blessings on your upcoming surgeries

wow, I never thought of setting a goal other than weight loss?  I guess I should!  I was thinking of more simple things, fitting in to the rides at Disneyland and putting my socks on with my pants buckled, lol.

I really need to brainstorm, maybe I will save my pennies for Paris!

Lacey- Those are some great goals to have! I would love to have one of those tracksuits too, and look good in it! I would love to ride my bike with my kids in one of those 3-wheel strollers!

Chris- you sound like you will have a good year ahead of you.  I wish I could go to New Orleans! I have never been there.  Enjoy!

As soon as you can, let me know how your surgeries went! Good luck!

I am UBER excited Missy! I am definitely going to travel somewhere tropical. I want to run on 'somebody's beach' LOL.... Maui would be nice or a cruise.. Not sure yet.  I DO want to sign up for the boot camp at my local gym (not for amatuers). I also see myself running behind one of those 3-wheel strollers with my 2-year old twins inside. I'll be wearing a 'WHITE' (NOT 'BLACK')Juicy Couture tracksuit, you know the ones with the short little hoody..LOL ! CAN'T WAIT TO START LIVING!

Take the day off. You will be glad you did.

It takes about 15 - 45 to take effect and lasts for about 4 - 6 hours.

Unless you can take time from daily work stuff to poo that often, you should be home and as close to the throne as possible. Think mad dashes when the feeling hits!

Once it goes into effect, you will have the drippy poos.

In fact, get some flushable wipes to help with the burning sensation. Some have even suggested diaper rash cream, but we've never used that in my house. My ex has to use Magnesium Citrate saline laxatives for his annual colonoscopy.
