Hi, Went back to work full time at 4 weeks-nearly died of exhaustion! Should've waited 1-2 more weeks. Hindsight is 100%.
Topic: RE: Throwing up
I've had vomiting off and on if I try to solid of stuff-chicken, fish, veggies, and I FEEL it with lots of cramping and foaming at my mouth. My surgery was 1/5/10 and I am back to very soft and squishy foods.

Carnation Instant Breakfast, yogurt (can only stand small amounts of it), applesauce, mashed potatoes ... i puree whatever meat (chicken, pork chops, steak) the family's having with some cream of chicken soup and use it as a gravy... and just started protein shakes. I've had scrambled eggs, although I was never an egg girl to begin with... i would give my left leg for some saltines - or toast!

I miss Starbucks DESPERATELY! I miss diet soda, Vernor's was my favorite. I am not hungry THANK GOD, but definitely bored with my choices. I am so happy to have the surgery behind me, but with an open cut I still have a constant reminder that something major has happen to my insides. I would love to workout (some days) but other days I feel drained and unmotivated. I believe its a combinations of the blues and the dreary weather. When the weather breaks I think it will feel sooo much better. WISHING EVERYONE THE BEST! HUGS

Hi Krizzti, I am still doing soups, cheese, shakes, yogurt., cereal that wilts in milk. I can have saltines for crunch, or tummy issues. At one month I can eat chicken and eggs, etc. but not beef yet. What are you eating?

You are so right AHARI, we need each. I haven't been to OH as much because of some family issues. But, I think of you guys often, though. I am determined to stick around. We are the first month of the new decade and we are so unique in that. HUGS~

I've seen lots of great recipes for the pureed stage, but I'm wondering what all my January 2010 homies are ACTUALLY eating day to day?
