Topic: RE: united healthcare not coving surgery
I am just curious. I have UHC Choice Plus and I was denied because my BMI was under 40 and they said my comorbidities werent really comorbidities. I have artheritis in my knees, anxiety and depression, the beginning stages of liver damage, sleep difficulties (dont know if sleep apnea), chronic back pain due to stress on fractured pelvic bone and bad circulation. What other medical problems did you have? Im so afraid that they are going to deny my appeal and I am trying to get as much info as possible.
Thanks,
Chelsea

Hi girl, I had surgery a day after you. You look awsome!! I really can't believe it has been a year. My highest weight was 275, consult 258, day of surgery 241 and today 158. size 8 pants (have one pair of stretchy size 6 that I can squeese into lol), small/med top. I am with you, I wouldn't change it for anything innthe world. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

Hi!
We are 1 year apart (and a couple of days) and I remember my jitters well.
We all worry about the unknown, right? Dont sweat what you cant control. Trust you chose the right doctor/hospital/surgery and it will be over before you know it.
Some people go and get massages and pedis before surgery, I just went to work like always and just took it one day at a time.
Jitters...Calm tea from starbucks. Dont be afraid, all will be great!

Does anyone have any advice on how to calm the nerves? I'm excited and scared at the same time. I've never been under before and I think that's what's scaring me the most
