Hey were all human. No one is perfect. I had a headache a few weeks ago and couldn't get rid of it. So after suffering all day I decided to see if it was a caffeine headache (twice a week I get a small hazelnut coffee from Dunkin Donuts) and popped open a can of coke. I drank about  4oz.. The carbon was a killer at first but it got rid of the headache. I don't feel bad at all. We all do what we need to do. Just continue eating right and exercising and don't worry about it.

lol-I have not cheated once since surgery, unless you consider 2 1/2 inches of subway sandwhich cheating.  Well anyway, I went to Alice in Wonderland on Saturday and had half a soft pretzel!! The nerve! It was about 50 grams of carbs.  BUT I did not fret over it.  I was good the rest of the day and I work pretty hard in the gym, so I'm ok with a little treat every now and then.

Actually there are worse things you could have eaten at the movies, but Consider yourself flogged! :) Did it not bother you? I accidentally took a sip of some carbonated water and it bothered my stomach big time.

I went to the movies with my husband yesterday.
I bought a Diet Coke.
I drank half of it.  (A medium)
The end.

(let the flogging begin)

Topic: RE: Hello! We need some updated from everyone!! its been awhile
I just today discovered this group for people who had surgery Jan 2010!

I am doing well.  I really have no food issues with the food itself.  I find that my first bite or two, sometimes I forget to chew enough...causes alot of pain and throwing up.  Hopefully I will learn soon!

I struggle with getting enough water everyday, but I will keep trying to get more in.

My exercise is great on weekdays, lacking on weekends.  I walk on the treadmill at work twice a day for 15-20 minutes each time.  On weekends, hopefully I am doing enough stuff around the house/yard to get my quota in!

Overall I am down 28 lbs,  and feeling pretty good.

I am planning to start in mid april.  I have several trips planned between now and then and don't feel like I can give the program my full attention until I get back.
