Just wanted to check in with everyone who started the program.  I had some troubles downloading the podcast so I seemed to jump from week 3 to week 6... but I was able to complete week 6!  Two sets of ten min. and I gotta be honest.... it was way easier than I could have imagined!  I have not meen able to complete the 25 min. jog but I am stronger and faster each time I go.  I remember my first two week on the program prior to surgery.  I was dying!!! I would be so irritated when the guy on the potcast would infom me that I should not be out of breath... mean while I would be gasping for air.!!  It has been a neat expeience testing my body's limits and feeling stronger daily.

How is everyone else doing?

Congratulations!  I am from the same doctors office that you are from.  I had Dr. Slikkers!  I love that office, they have been so good to me!  Good luck on your journey!  I have my RNY on January 20th! Hopefully we can meet up sometime.  It is always nice to meet someone from the same area.

Hi,
I had rny on Jan 15th and am doing well.  I am down 38, really slower than anyone else, but a steady 2-3 lbs a week.
I am still struggling to get all of my water in and vary my protein between 70-95.  Getting everything in is a chore for me that I work everyday!
I feel so much better and am no longer on high blood pressure or asthma meds.  Woo hoo!

Well Welcome aboard.  Congrats on your surgery as welI.   I see you a Jan "Loser" too....lol
I had my RNY on Jan. 20.  It's always good to see another "Loser" in the mix.   I hope this site helps you along the way as it has me.

Congratulations! You all look great!!! How much protein are each of you taking in each day? Are you still doing supplements? If so, what kind and how much in an hour?
