Topic: Stinking Or's, stop changing your scheduling process
Called the Surgical Scheduler for Arnot Bariatic group because I had questions about the pre-op testing and medical clearance that has to be done and was informed that she was going to be calling me to change my surgery date from January 4th to january 6th because the OR is changing the way they are scheduling things. What a pain and disappointment, but luckly I was only pushed out 2 days. This will be 2 days after my birthday now, so it will be a delayed birthday present I guess. Oh well it is what it is and I am thankful I will be having this done soon.
Congrats to the new comers to the month of January and I expect we will be meeting more as the month gets closer.

Congratulation to all the January and January the 4TH Surgery Dates, I am very proud to be apart of this special 2010 Event with all of you.

I will try to post as often as possible. When you work and have an almost 3 year old, getting on the computer can sometimes be a challenge. Hoping you get your date set soon and thanks for your response.

Don't drive yourself crazy. If you feel you need to have something sweet just cut it in half-have a few bits then give the rest away. I know its hard but just try. Thats all you can do.

JodieStressing here too. Like Jodi, my doctor suggested I lose 15lbs, but didn't say it was a requirement. I had lost 3 lbs of it but haven't lost any more. My pre-op is on Dec. 14th. I'm hoping to at least lose a couple more pounds before then. My surgery is on Jan. 5th. ~ Chris

I'm scheduled for an MGB on jan 11th also. I'm more excited than nervous........I feel you on the gas pain issue cos I already have gas issues now which resolves with gas-x. I hope the gas-x will also relieve the pain after surgery.
