I totally agree with you Suzanne! I am glad I have the holidays to help the time pass faster or my nerves would be shot already, and my date is not until the 20th! Good Luck!

Is ther any one in Northern Michigan that is going to have the surgery in January? I would love to have have someone close byfor support, along with the online support!

I would love to add you as a friend. My surgery date is January 20th! I am in the same boat. My husband has been so supportive about this whole thing but would LOVE to have someone that had the surgery on or about my date to go through it together. All January surgery we can help support each other through this new life changing surgery! :)

I am scheduled for VSG on Jan 8th. I still have my upper GI test on Dec30th. I am keeping my fingers crossed none of my test results affect my surgery date.

This is my fist time posting. It's nice to know there is web support in addition to the support group offered by my surgeon's office.

I am so looking forward to getting off Type II diambetic meds and starting my journey to a better life. I started gaining wieght 30 years ago so it will be such a change (in a good way). Good luck to all the Jan 2010 surgery dates. With collective positive thinking the way will be easier for us all.
