Good job, Lola! Are you doing the liquid diet for the next 3 weeks or a modified plan until the week of surgery? And 3 weeks away---that is so close; I'll be 10 days behind you!

Only 3 weeks til my surgery! I am very excited and ready to start this process. I have put myself on a pre op diet since he only requires 3 days and so far I have lost 9 pounds.

This is my first time to post. I am having surgery January 18 also...so excited but nervous. I am having RNY. My family is not very supportive about this my husband is very supportive however. I can't wait i have waited for 10 yrs for this.

Im having surgery on the 11th of January. Im so excited. Anyone had a bad experience flying and being obese? Im not so worried about me, but my Husband is coming and he weighs 500+ lbs and Is 6'7". He is very active and plays semi-pro football and has flown once before years ago, when he was "smaller". Anyone ever had to buy an extra ticket? Im nervous about this...also, whats it like crossing the border from Texas to Mexico? Ugh...Im nervous about alot of things, I guess....just NOT about the surgery itself!
