Topic: January 18th or 19th surgery date in Morgantown, WV?
I will be having the VSG procedure on the 18th or 19th (haven't got a confirmed date yet between the two). I am looking for someone who may be having this procedure done around the same time as me.

Does your's have to be liquid diet only? Did your doctor give you a diet you have to be on? I am not sure if it is different for DS surgery or not.

My doctor has said that I have to do a high protein diet. I am not sure of everything that is on it but some examples that I remember is cottage cheese, eggs, low fat cheese, steak, chicken,tuna, a long with Unjury shake (I think the shake is once a day). If you would like I can scan a copy of what I have when I saw the dietian. I never liked the idea of just doing a liquid diet, I still need to EAT something! LOL
Aheri-how long do you have to be on this diet before the surgery? Mine is two weeks before hand, so January 6th I get to start.
