Never to excited! I am having my surgery on the 20th in Traverse City, MI! I am so excited to start this new life of mine! I can't wait. That is what is getting me through the holiday's!

How Did You Guys Do Today?
Thus far I had 1 Chike Strawberry Shake with a slice of Mango blended in. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I hope we use this post to talk about how we feel and how we are doing also to post recipes!

When I first went to my surgeon I had been doing weigh****chers which should have counted but because I did not lose or maintain my weight the surgeon decided that it was best to see a nutricitionist which I did for 6 months and met with my PCP every 6 weeks so I would be approved. So if it is that then you will be approved now that you meet the insurance requiremnts.

I was denied cause they said I hadnt tried a weight lost program in the last two years. I had just like my wife attemted weigh****chers and since the end fo Aug. I have been on a program with my surgeon. I just hadnt gone in once a month so the next appointment will be the third time. I've done everything that my wife has done just that I didnt go to the doctor near as much as she does.

What was the reason for being denied? I was approved right away, but from reading alot post on here it seems there is a lot of people who get denied the first time. I hope everything works out that way you and your wife will be sharing this life change together.

I was denied the first go around but the wife got approved with the same insurance.
