We will be here for u when u start! I am so trying, I tell u though I AM HUNGRY.. I just blended up some soup and broth and about to drink..yummy yeah right, BUT It is all worth it!!

My doctor suggested the band for me, he said with my BMI it would be the best opitions but in the end he said it was my choice. I just don't have the will power. I need to know that my body will react a certain way when I eats something bad! Plus, my mom and my middle sister have had the RNY and I know the out comes to that surgery! :) Where I live they don't do very many VSG's so it is either the RNY or Band. But that is ok with my because I had already made my choice before I saw the doctor. Good Luck!

Keep up the good job. I start my diet on January 6th! Just two weeks before surgery! Keep going it will be worth it all!

How did u all do today? and yesterday?
Yesterday was rough and I didn't get in enough shakes

Today I had a vanilla/strawberry chike shake with peach yogurt

I also had a strawberry chike with chocolate syrup and banana

Now yesterday I had a Vanilla chike with caramel toriano suger free syrup kinda

Hi Nichole,

Sorry about the delay getting back to you. I was out of town for work. I have sent you a friend request ;).

Did you ever hear back from the Doctor, I went through the sam ething and ended up calling the bariatric coordinator and nurses. They made sure I got a return call.

I don't have a time yet! :(I had my pre-op class yesterday....yes all sinking in now. The nex few days with the holiday will fly and the 4th will be here before you know it.

I am having surgery on the 4th also. I had a Body Fortress Whey Protein Shake so far. I am going to have some sugar free jello soon.

I dont even feel like having Christmas this year, I just want my surgery date here. I had my band taken out 3 weeks ago and cant wait to get the sleeve. The band was TERRIBLE! I hated it.
