20 days and Counting- Frustrated - still no ins. approval

Hi,  My original date was for the 14th.  Then over the holidays they thought i might have cervical cancer, which came out okay, so they changed the date to Feb 1.  Is it normal to not know yet if approved. I get these letters saying, no medical reason but this is not a rejection.  My doctor says sometimes you don't get the approval till a day or 2 before.  I was so ontrack when I thought the date was the 14th and lost it a bit with this all going on.  Need to get back on track.  Any advise appreciated. 

WOW glad everything came out fine with the cancer thing,sorry your ins still hasn't gotten you all set up. My Dr. wouldn't even scedule my surgery till we had the approval. Hope yours comes in soon

Wow...i thought waiting 3 days was rough. lol I'm gonna be a MESS by 20 days. Praying you get approval. Yah, my doc wouldn't even schedule the surgery until I get approval..hmm
