I did it!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited and happy for you. I prayed for you right before I lost all memories, Can u imagine being so afraid like we were and now we have had successful surgeries? I wish I had prepared myself for the after Surgery phase more, I spent so much enery being afraid that I should of prepared myself for the gas pains etc. I am having really Bad GAS and poop issues but my surgery was uneventful and I was released from the hospital on Thursday so I am happy as of right now. Are u walking and sipping? Hard to get 4 to 6 lil cups in an hour though. Sandi please keep in touch so we can go through this journey together!

Yes, I was thinking of you also while I was laying there waiting.  I am walking and sipping.  You're right, it's hard to get enough in.  The first few days, I could drink easily and I thought no problem.

However, now that I've started to add foods today, it was more difficult.

I am still on the DAMN liquid diet and will be forever I fear...lol... I have my 2 week post op appt on Monday the 18th pray he says I can have something more than liquid? I get applesauce ONLY to take my muscle relaxer :( I was so desperate today I took a bite of chicken and swished it around in my mouth than spit it out. Just to have the taste and feeling.
