Lapband Surgery approaching

Jan. 7th.........first day of a new life for me................obese for the last 50 years.....at my fire department retirement my "Captain" of 20 years stated that in the time he had known me, I had loss between 400 and 500 hundred pounds, he meant well, but that is a heartbreaking reality for me...........I finally have hope of achiving a permanent weight loss.

U will! is your surgery an outpatient procedure?

Yes , Outpatient really blows my mind...........I have had 10 Ortho surgeries over the last 30 years and I stayed 2 days in the hospital after shoulders surgeries 20 years ago..........

I live about 225 miles from the hospital so I am staying with my wife at a hotel for a couple of days post op to make sure I am OK before driving home.........
