Got my date Jan 13th

Well here we go I am all scheduled up and still anxious.   Now in the mode to read as much as possible on these forums to calm the nerves. 

Congratulations on getting your surgery date!  I am a bit anxious too, but not about the surgery.  I am anxious about making sure  I stick to the rules.  Like you I am reading everything I can get my hands on so I can make sure to be a success.
My surgery date is January 7th and I'm thrilled.  I see that you are getting the lapband...it's a piece of cake.  I have two friends (both men) who went through with it and both have lost approx 100lbs in a little over a year!  They inspired me to go through with it.
