My new birth date: My surgery date - Jan. 11th.

I've got my surgery date and I can't believe it. It's all happening so fast.

I have two fears though...the pain I'll experience in my stomach and all that trapped gas. Is anyone else worried about that? Of course the danger of having this surgery scares me but I'm trying to not go there. I'm keeping a positive attitude so I don't freak out.
As the weeks go by I can feel myself getting more nervous. How about you?

I'm scheduled for an MGB on jan 11th also. I'm more excited than nervous........I feel you on the gas pain issue cos I already have gas issues now which resolves with gas-x. I hope the gas-x will also relieve the pain after surgery.

me too! I am so excited rather than nervous, the pain will be so well controlled that we don't need to worry.
