My surgery was on Jan 15th.  I've lost 37 lbs so far, including my 2 week pre-op diet.  I've been on a stall for the past week.  It is coinciding with my time of the month.  I'm hoping that's all it is.

Jamie,
I gained two pounds last week and had not weighed myself until this morning and I had lost 5 more pounds. Don't worry!

I am up to about a 1/4 cup. I have slowly started to introduce foods and the only thing that has made me feel bad is chicken. I think it may be to dry.

I had surgery almost a month ago and have lost 32 pounds. I was worried last week because I gained 2 pounds.

I am also just a bit over 4 weeks and I am down 35 lbs... I feel like you that I should be losing more plus my scale hasnt moved in a week.   Hang in there we will get these weight off soon enough.  Be patient.

I was three weeks out from surgery as of yesterday.  I have lost about 28 lbs, including the pre-op diet.   That means I'm down about 15lbs post op.  I feel like I'm losing slowly, but I'm o.k. with that as long as the surgeon is o.k. with that, and he is.  Anyway, 'slowly' is a relative term.  I certainly was never able to lose 15 lbs in 3 weeks before.

I'm just going to keep doing what I'm supposed to be doing and see what happens at my 6 week appt.

Sounds like your doing well!

I am a little over 2 weeks out and I have lost about 20 lbs since my preop diet.  I tried on my jeans from pre-op and I have inches to spare in my waist.  I thought I was losing slowly, but the inches are definatly coming off!

36 lbs is wonderful ... great job!

I am 4 weeks post op today and was wondering how everyone is doing on their weight loss?  I have lost 36 pounds to date including the pre-op diet.  Which to me seems like a small number, the inches have been coming off also.  Please don't get me wrong I am not complaining by any means!!!  I do not regret having the surgery as I know this is a life long journey and my weight will come off in a healthy manner which is what I want.

I can't wait to be released to be able to exercise more than just walking.  I want to start some strength training to help with the loose skin and to tone up as much as I can along the way...

Good to luck to everyone and keep up the great work!!!

Topic: RE: What are you doing for protein?
I drink the IsoPure Grape Frost, it's 40 grams of protein per bottle.  The taste is OK, I really don't like the taste of Whey Protein.  I am going to try the AnyWhey as you can add it to anything and there isn't supposed to be any flavor or smell to it.

Good Luck to everyone!!!

Topic: Protein Bars
When is it safe to begin eating protein bars?  What store brand do you reccommend?  What are some other good protein snacks?  Thanks.
