Topic: New goals?
Hello Fellow Jan 09 Band-its
Has anyone set any new goals since their 1 year anniversary? My initial goal was 100 pounds I reached that and now I am going to lose another 50 pounds. My Doc was very excited to see me and the progress I made and asked me to be a speaker I told her I need to think about that because I do not have the best review of the band lol I actually had to have an unfill because I was so tight-well I will spare you the details- I've been using Weigh****chers since July anyway so I going to start getting more fills shortly but the goal is to keep the downward trend going.

Hey Lisa,
Congratulations on the incredible weight loss. Like you, for the first time in years, I'm wearing tight jeans and belts and I feel great in them. The weight loss has certainly boosted my self esteem and made me much healthier inside and out.
Keep up the great work!

Well hello fellow January 09 WLS loser!
I too feel great and am lovin' my new look! I have lost 112 lbs and have lost less then I weigh now! I am in a size 2-4 and xs-s. I am full of energy and love to shop for clothes! I wear my shirts tucked in and love belts! I even wear jewlery now which I haven't done in years! I have high heels and I love tight jeans!
I am considering a consult with a plastic surgeon to be-rid of some excess skin on my thighs. I have elephant looking knees and thighs. One thing I will do this year is get a consult.
Would love to do it again just for the excitement of losing!

I'm 96 lbs lighter today and my BMI is 27.3. Just a little above my goal weight.
I'm 49 and I look and feel better than I did at 39. I've got my life back and I'd do it all over again!
All the best to all of you on the journey and for those of you who have yet to join us.

Congratulations Karen!!! That is wonderful! Happy Surgiversary! Your progress is astounding and I can see why you are happy. You have a lot to be proud of!!
I'm very sorry to hear you are going through a divorce. That is so tough (been there, but didn't have children). It's wonderful that you don't have to be concerned about your health on top of it.
Right now I weight 287so I really look up to you as a true success story and inspiration. Thank you and congrats!!!

Tomorrow marks my 1 year surgi-versary! It's hard to believe a year ago I was 287 pounds ... I am now holding at a steady 153/155 lbs. I am so happy I had this surgery & would do it again in a heartbeat. It gave me my life back ... I can enjoy so much more with my children! Unfortunately my husband & I are going through a seperation right now. I am looking for my own place for me & my kids ... but I am much more happier then I could have ever imagined! I hope everyone has had a wonderful year! Hope 2010 is happy for everyone!
