............................................................. ~ Yet Pressing ~
I actually started working out at the YMCA.
It didn't kill me and i actually felt pretty good when i was done.
I saw my surgeon in Sept. and was 307.
Yesterday i weighed at home and i was 248.
For being six weeks out and not really following any of his insturctiuons/directions i guess I am doing OK. When i saw him for my six week check up he got on me about not getting in enough protein, exercise, the right types of vitamins and not taking better care of myself. ( I'm working ridiculous amounts of hours and not sleeping or eating right.) I broke down and cried and said how this was much harder then i thought it was going to be and i was doing it all wrong and i was going to mess this up like i have everything else in the past. He hugged me and said i was doing OK and it just takes time and to really get selfish and start putting myself first!!!
Hes an awesome doctor and i am lucky to have him and his staff!!
The weight has got to come off one way or another, sooner or later.
Hang in there kid-o.
(((hugs)))
Hey there!
Maybe it's the moon sign we had our surgeries under. I'm not losing fast either. Thirteen pounds in four weeks seems rather slow to me.
Let me know how you are doing, I'd love to hear from you.
Hugs,
Deb
