I'm losing in spurts. I think its worse cuz i weigh everyday, Yes i know that's a no-no.
I can go about a week and nothing....then one morning i get up and i have lost 2-4lbs.
I cant figure it out? VERY frustrating. This is going to sound so stupid but i really did think i was going to lose a pound a day and just lose and lose and lose. I really didn't think i was going to have to put forth any effort. How ridiculous is that? I had very high hopes and now realty has smacked me up side the head. I am just so afraid that i wont lose all the weight i need to.

nope. Where the drain tube was...and now is a scar..sometimes it itches.
Any complications?
Not really. I had a "surprise hernia" fixed and am really not doing well getting in all my vitamins/protein. I am starting to see thinning of my hair and having a little hair loss. I have a weird rash on my inner thighs that itches like crazy. Going to my PCP Fri. to get it checked out. Oh, when i got home from surgery i had the worlds worst yeast infection in the southern region and on my upper inner thighs and my mouth. Would not have wished that on my worst enemy!! Chicken makes me sick and carbs make me fall asleep. I had a couple of girls scout cookies and bascaily passed out for about 3hrs.
How do you feel?
You know, this is going to sound so bad but i don't feel as good as i thought i would. I still look in the mirror ans see a fat girl looking back at me. I don't get happy when my boss calls me "skinny Minny" or when my customers call me the "shrinking woman". I am not excited about how much weight i have lost. I am bummed out that the weight is not coming off quicker. I had no idea how hard this was going to be. I really couldn't see past just "getting it done". My vitamins make me sick, everything makes me gag and dry heave. Nothing sounds/taste good. Sugar doesn't make me dump so i have cheated here and there.(feel really guilty about it and that's probably why i am not losing as fast!) I joined the YMCA but have only gone twice. I cant seem to get a good schedule down. I am always so tired after work( i work 11p-7a) that i don't want to go and then in the late afternoon when i wake up i am so busy with the kids/husband/house and then its time to go to work again. Sounds like a lot of excuse and I HAVE to start being selfish and putting myself first. Its not a luxury anymore its a necessity for me to be healthy and take good care of myself. I think maybe subconsciously I think this is all just a temporary fix and I will gain it all back and fail like i have done on other "diets". I think that's why i cant get excited! Even buying smaller clothes didn't make me that happy.
What does is your exercise schedule like?
Like i mentioned b4, it**** or miss right now for the YMCA. Its soooo cold here in KS that i have not really been outside doing much. When I am at the YMCA i do the treadmill. I am going tonight to meet with the trainer so i can figure out how to use the rest of the equipment. I have GOT to work on my arms. EWW GROSS!! I am also going to get started on the water exercises classes. When it warms up some, i am going to for the first time ever work in my yard. Not just mow it but actually plant stuff!!! I am really looking forward to that.

I was wearing a size 24 jean and now am in an 18.
I was in a 4X shirt and now am in a 2X.
I was a 46DDD bra and now am a 40D.

What do you guys eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks?
Breakfast I usually have an egg with cheese or peaches and yogurt.
Lunch I usually have chicken salad or tuna salad. Sometimes I eat deli turkey and cheese (lots of protein).
Dinner I cook ... made some yummy jambalaya the other day, but it usually consists of something chicken or turkey meat.
Snacks are a hard one for me, usually a yogurt or string cheese.
Does anyone do toast or breads or pasta yet? If you know you are going to be out all day, what do you bring for a snack with you? I have 3 kiddos, so I am always on the go and sometimes don't have time to plan out my meals. So any ideas for on the go snacks are always welcome ;)

I have a bariatric shake in the morning (39 total grams of protein), may snack on some Reduced fat wheat thins (3 or 4), lunch is usally turkey chili that I mix some AnyWhey protein into, have a Super Whey Protein shot (26 grams of protein), dinner is usally turkey, fish or chicken. I try to get about 80 grams of protein a day and drink atleast 64 ounces (morning shake is about 16 ounces, Super shot 2.6 ounces, then water or flavored water). I go home and box on the Wii for a bit, do some Yoga and strength training on the Wii for about 30 mins then maybe walk on the treadmill.
Your weight loss will also depend on what weight you started at, if you were on the low end you will loose it slower. At my highest I was 289 pounds, I can't wait to get below 200 pounds.
I have been told that getting your protein and fluids will be helpful in the weight loss.
You are doing great and keep it up. Remember you may be loosing inches and not the pounds then switch.

You're eating Noodles? I was told to stay away from Breads and Pastas for about 4 months post op...what did your doctor say? (i'm way jealous because I want some noodles.)
