I am on the end of day 3 of 2 weeks... This is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life !! I still feel like I am starving !! I hope this gets better 11 more days of this. I know alot of you are going through this now !!!! I have already lost 3 pounds !

I'm getting pretty freaked myself!

My surgery will be a revision to DS which means....he has to go in there (as in OPEN surgery) and fix everything, then start from scratch. Afterwards I'll be on tube feeding for a while as well to give things time to heal properly. I haven't told DH that part though-some things are better left unsaid. (He'll just worry that much more between now and then.) If for some reason he can't do it, I'll be having a distal RNY-so there's a lot of unknowns for me. Who knows what I'll wake up to. (I'm trying to think positively though!)

At any rate, I am so very grateful for everyone here on OH-they have been so caring and helpful. I'd be flying blindfolded if there was no OH, that's for sure!

I know what you mean. I too had to stop taking Advil and having the occasional drink due to fatty liver. I stopped the soda a few months ago, but today I have been craving it. Probably because my 2 week liquid diet starts tomorrow.
I am soo excited to get the surgery over with!! Jan. 12th can't get here soon enough!

Awesome you guys!! Im on the January 5th list, its like only a week away!! I have my pre-op on Wed, Dec. 31st and i have to pre-register at the hospital after that so im excited, good luck to you all!!!

Topic: Alright Already!!!!!!!!!!

this is driving me crazy! i know each and everyone of you HAS to be feeling the same way. im just ready for it to be over (the waiting that is) to get the rest of my life started. i had to stop drinking (adult drinks) months ago due to a fatty liver. No i don't have a drinking problem, my dr just said i needed to stop taking Advil, ibuprofen etc. stop drinking totally and he changed my diabetes medication. my liver has improved!! i know with all my health problems all the changes are for the best and are getting me closer to having my surgery. im just ready NOW! im starting to get very grumpy. no alcohol no carbs no sugar no sodas.......stopping all this in a very short time period is very hard. alot harder than i thought it would be. sorry to drag this on and on but i just had to vent a little. thank all of you guys on here for your support....it means the world!

Thank you Laurie-my program has surely saved my life and I am forever indebted to it!
I do use it as much as possible in my life because NA covers addiction-period. I don't have to running from one room to another..lol
