Emily, the time will fly! Look at it this way: Your surgeon will be better at what he does because he will have done more surgeries. My date is 1/29. I started this a year ago. I cannot believe I am 28 days away! Jus think ,by Christmas next year you will be a different person! Hang in there. I can't wait to see your b4 n after pics.

I'm hoping for elimination of my diabetes and related medications.
I'm hoping to be able to SHOP for really HOT clothes!
I'm hoping to date by the end of the year, even at my advanced age (47)!
I'm hoping to be a better example to my youngest son (15) who is also obese.
I''m hoping to be more comfortable in my body instead of having joint paints and sore ribs.

What are YOU hoping for?

I will be praying for a smooth sucessful surgery and a quick recovery. Please post as soon as you feel up to it. I pray that your surgeon be skillful and alert. The anesthesia be administered properly and you all be as pain free as possible.May the nurses respond quickly and compassionately meet all your needs. Please take the time to recover!!
