We have the same date! Woohoo! I thought my year was bad enough but I give you tons of credit for sticking with the pre-op stuff for that long!

Good luck with you and your lapband.
I had considered that procedure, odd as it sounds I am more comfortable with the RNY. So that is the decision I made.
LOL maybe we'll see eachother in Anesthesia dreamland for 4oz tea time.
Good luck!

Greetings January Surgi family,
Happy New Year to all. I'm feelin' the same way. I know it's absolutely the right decision but I am worried...
I need to find all my vitamins at the stores, which chewables?
What about all the meds I currently take
I need some ready to drink protein shakes, am I going to like them post sx?
Can I do everything I am supposed to?
So many questions and newness, but I know I can do it.
I have my pre-op tomorrow at 10:45 a.m. and hope to feel more at ease. I had a small bronchitis and thankfully after starting antibiotics which were approved by my surgeon I am feeling SO much better and not coughing up fur balls LOL
I'm there with ya'll.

I agree with you 100%- my surgery is 1/6 and I was just saying today that I want it to be over with so that I can begin my "new life". I wish that I could sleep until the morning of surgery, but I can't even if I wanted to- there's too much to do to get ready!

Thanks so much, Michelle! I'm sure that I will take you up on your offer to answer any questions- there will likely be many. Hope you're doing well and that you had a Happy New Year! I'll check out the December forum.
