That is good to hear. My surgery is on the 13th and I just hit the "this is really going to happen" mode and I am freaking out a little. When do you plan on going back to work?

Hi all. I am sooooo sore but i have to be moving around so i'm up. It was a great experience, nothing negative to say. I went in to the OR at 7:45 and left the hospital to come home at noon. I'll write more maybe tomorrow or sunday. I'm doing well just very sore. I have to think of a name for my band. :)

Have a great trip! I'm really, really jealous of YOU now, LOL! It's only 29 degrees here and it just started to snow. I hate this weather up north more and more every year!! Anyways, how long will you be there? It's a perfect thing to do to before surgery- it will keep you from worrying!

Oh, Amanda- {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} to you!!! I'm glad that you're back. This is a stressful time of year, and having the pre-op diet and surgery coming up, in addition to life's usual S**T , can be overwhelming. Just hang in there and take things one day at a time and one problem at a time.
Glad that you and Hubby worked things out. I know that things can sting for a while after a fight, but the important thing is that you two are able to work at resolving the problems. I'm sure that he understands what you're facing in the next few months.
Don't worry about the Jan Surgery list- it's been updated and everyone can be responsible for getting their name on the list. You don't need to worry yourself with that.
I have also been really STUPID with my eating this past week. I have been eating EVERYTHING as if I truly will never be able to have it again. It's getting to the point where I can't even think of anything that sounds good, because I've had so much!! Just do the best that you can with the liquid diet, and keep your mind set on the end result of all of this- A happy, healthy new you for the new year!!!

Some people!! I'm sorry your coworker is acting like this. I'm sure she is jealous. Its sad she feels this way. WLS is such an amazing tool, but as you said it is just that, a tool. You have a ton of work ahead of you. And you are so right if she could lose weight easily she would be skinny now!
