Thanks everyone for being supportive of me and my aunt ljackson803..... today is the day we go in for surgery... we will be leaving for the hospital in about 10 minutes.... we are thankful for all the prayers and encouragement we have recieved from this board...Hopefully we will have a speedy recovery and will be able to post soon.... Keep us in your minds and hearts...

My surgeon never mentioned anything ever about a colonoscopy. I am positive that I do not need one for my RNY. I am only 31 though and a lighter weight (and as healthy as I can be at my weight)...so maybe that is why?
