Hi Barb...... I am very serious about the concept of a community 
even if it is in cyberspace. We are all real people 
behind these nics and we are all facing having our bodies surgically altered. I am having this done for the 2nd time. I had complications
the first time and I don't know if anyone was praying for me. 
Now that I believe in the power of prayer 
and the LORD that hears those prayers I am kinda paying it forward in reverse. My day is 1/29. You will all be recovering and meeting the challenges 
of living with your surgeries. We all expect a great outcome and rightly so.
But I also know there are those bumps in life that catch us when we least expect them.
I really want every name named to be blessed and have as few bumps as possible. I think we have all gone through enough living in a society that is so negative toward obese people. 
We also share many health problems caused by our obesity. Finally, we have to learn life anew. 
This includes following the rules 
for our best health and sucessful weight loss, to dealing with people
we may have in our life that might not be there if it wasn't for our self esteem issues. 
We will change from this surgery and so will the people around us. That can be a bittersweet experience. 
That is the paradox of life guess. Having said that I am so grateful for a second chance.

Thanks everyone, best of luck to all of us. I can't believe we are all here and ready to go. We are all going to look awesome. Remember in school when being a loser was a bad thing, now we all can't wait to be on that loser's bench. I think that is so funny. Let's all post as soon as we can. Best wishes for a speedy, as pain free as possible recovery

I'm sorry to hear this. I agree with theothers either a liquid diet of a very low carb diet should take off the weight. Don't drink anything the morning of the weigh in! Good luck!

Thats great! I wish I could say that I wasn't tempted today, but I was. I stayed on the liquids but it was so hard! Only 13 days to go!! Yay!!
