I had my surgery on the 5th also, when i came out of anesthesia, (which was horrible!) my boyfriend told me that the doctor found a hernia and removed it... Recovery has been ok I guess, i am VEEERRRYYY sore and it feels like I have done about a million crunches, sit-ups, push-ups you name it so it hurts to breath, but other than that I am ok, spent 2 nights in hospital, i am in pain but thank god for vicodin!! I am glad i finally had the surgery but didnt even think i would feel like this, i dont regret it though, just have to rest....

So today is day 3 on liquids and UUGGGHHH! My gosh, this s*cks!!!!!
Today I was really put to the test. Monday was rough, Tuesday was for whatever reason really easy.... and Today... I was OK.
Until, I went to the doctors.. and found out I have gone from 305 to 288 Since October. I wanted to FRIGGIN celebrate... lol!!!! I AM ONLY BEING HONEST. LOL But, for some reason I was like.... Damn, you can do it... and a "snack" will not hurt you... I was really tempted. I went back to work and continued doing my stuff... and did not give in!
Then, I make my son dinner and I could have squirt the ketchup in my mouth!!!! I needed some flavoring!! Then there was pepperoni and cheese in there and I was like... " I can just have one"... But, I know once I cheat that's it!!!!
I can thankfully say that I DID NOT cheat. And instead, had a vitamin for something to chew. But man.. Am I really going to be able to handle this another 11days....

Well I am so excited to finally know when I am going to have my surgery. I will be having my surgery on January 27th which is only about 20 days away. Yay!! If my doctor would of said do you want it next week I would of said "hell ya" but oh well. Anyways it gives me time to work something out at work. Since they don't know I'm having this procedure done. Not because I'm ashamed of it just because I brought the thought of it out before and they all started to criticize me about taking the easy way out! Which I disagree cause Nothing is ever easy nothing. So I have just told them that I needed to have surgery for my gallbladder end of story. Which was still a little more than they needed to know. I just need to do this for me and I now know this is the only way. I am just a little worried with it being a major surgery and all about the complications and the what ifs but I guess that's just with everything. I don't know how much time to ask for cause I hear all these different stories about pain and problems after the surgery. I can tolerate pain. I also have a desk job and don't really do any lifting of anything. Well papers thats about it. I was thinking maybe anywhere from 3-4days at the most. I don't work weekends so that'll give me a couple more days to recoop.

Congrats to you both. I know God hears us when we pray, I am so happy you are both doing so well. I go tomorrow and I am and saying my prayers that I will be as blessed as you both are.

Im having my surgery on the 27th. The day after your surgery. I feel a little anxious and nervous excited. I guess all of the above. lol.

I also had surgery on Monday. And I too am having such a wonderful recovery so far. Kinda hard to believe...lol I too thank the lord for guiding me through my uneventful surgery and keeping me safe through my recovery so far... Truly Bless that is for sure... Take it easy and sip sip sip and walk walk walk...lol Take Care!

Haleluia, I am home. The surgery was very successful. I have been walking quite a bit and sipping liquids. I cannot believe how easy this recovery is going. I feel truly blessed by the Lord. I give Him all the praise. He has brought me through.
My prayers will be with all you guys yet to have surgery.
I will post more in a few days.
