So I made it with few tear but hangin still.Its been five days since my surgery and I hope to find everyone well  who had their surgery around the same time I did. At 10:00 Im off to the doctors for my first check up wich means pureed and soft food here I come.I know it wont be alot but it will be better then chicken broth and at this point makes me gag LOL.I started at 260 and my scale is weighting me in at 239 so I can't wait to see if my scale is right.Im sure it is though I will let everyone know this afternoon!!

Hi, okay so I've been not even thinking about the computer, but today I'm feeling really good so I wanted to post.  I had surgery on Tuesday and came home on Thursday. No complications, no nausea, everything has been pretty great except my tummy being so sore it's hard for me to move around, get out of bed, etc.  The worst part was probably the day after surgery.  I was in a lot of pain but once I got on schedule with pain meds it was okay.  My angel (Betty) was great, she stayed with  me and my mom that whole day (even though I was a big whiny baby yelling for pain meds).  Yeah, I was so bloated but today, I'm feeling it a little less, I took Reglan last night which is supposed to help.  Plus I've been walking around the house a lot to get it out.  Yesterday, my first day out, I actually got in 50 oz of water and about 60 oz of protein.  Like I said, no nausea here.   By the way, I'm not getting on scale until I go to my 2-week appointment because I know I'm bloated.   Oh, and my stomach is so rumbly loud!  Oh well, whatever gets me on the looser's bench. LOL  Talk to yall later.

Sounds like you are healing pretty well!  I hope you get some releif for the gas soon!
