Yes my family threw me a "last supper" lol for me on the 10th of Jan. We had Indian Tacos!

Barb, I am glad to hear your home and doing well, Me too. Well were on the "down side" now LOL. I did have a few compications while there but home now recovering so all is better. I am going to blog about it on my page later. But I am happy to hear all went well. I will keep you in my prayers that we contiune to recover without diffculity.

Well I finally have my date it is January 7th 2009, So I will be starting off in the new year with a new me.

Congrats on being home barb!
I had my RNY on 1/6. Mine was outpatient....no drains....minimal pain. The bad part about doing it outpatient is that you dont have that day of support at the hospital, so this board has been a god send. My shoulder pain resolved after a couple of days, but today, it came back.....its not terrible....just annoying......just like the gurgles!

hey there!! My surgery is tomorrow as well. I did my bowel prep which is the worst sh** ever! I'm also doing my liquid diet which has me acting like a true BIT* *. 
But when it's all said and done I'm happy and excited. I pray for an uneventful surgery and recovery for all of us! Good luck.
