Topic: RE: 6 days out, but feeling hunger. Anyone else?
My surgery was the 8th and while I haven't been ravaged, I sometimes have an emptiness. What seems to work best for me (following my surgeon's suggestions) is on even hours I do creamy foods that are more milk based, eg.. cream of wheat, cream soups or yogurt. On odd hours I sip clear liquids e.g. water, kellog special K protein added to water, clear broths. If I stick to this, I feel less empty.
Of course in another couple of weeks, we'll be eating additional stuff.

Good Luck on the 14th! Hope you do well! I can't imagine what it is like being at the point you are now - I am sure I will be the same way. I just went to fill out all my paperwork today to get the process rolling. A LONG WAY TO GO! I have got to schedule an appt. with my physician to start a 6 mos. diet plan. I am hoping to have the LapBand. A little frustrated at the moment about the 6 months deal - but no way around it! Which I am sure you have already been through
all that and could tell me a whole lot! Anyway, wanted you to know I wish you luck and hope you
will fill me in on how it went when you get to feeling better. Best wishes to you!

Topic: Jan 14th is my big day
Im getting a little nervous now, it's really starting to kick in that my date is finally here. Im anxious and scared, but i'm sure everything will be fine. Good luck to all of you with upcoming surgery dates and to those of you who just had it. I hope to be on here as soon as I get home. Take care everyone.

My friends took me out for dinner last week and made me a bag full of fun stuff to do while I'm recouping....
They bought me a game called 'Gassy Gus'. I wonder if they knew something I didn't ,until now.
