How is life with your new tool? Good, I still don't eat much for the most part so I am eating about 4 small meals a day. My hubby thinks that is because in my head I worried about getting sick (I am not going to admit that he is probably right..LOL) But going goo, progress is all I am looking for and doing it in a healthy way.

Starting weight? 289 (sad, but true)
Current weight? 207.5 (only 7.5 more until Onderland!!)
Whats good on the food menu for you? Cheese, chicken, buffalo (Bison), pork so far everything is good except for Tuna and Pasta's both make me sick within a few minutes. Love Pure Protein bars (19-21 grams of protein depending on the flavor)
What is the biggest challenge with the surgery? Not going back to grazing, I am really bad about that. Getting my sis to realize that I didn't do this as a quick and easy diet. She thinks that is how this works and to be honest it really frustrates me that she isn't listening when I explain it to her.
Do you ever slip up and eat things you are not suppose to? I have had 1 M & M and 1 Hershey's Kiss (didn't taste so good)
How's the exercise schedule looking? I am not gonna lie, I could do a lot more of it. I got some exercise balls a few weeks ago and those are awesome for ab workouts.. I walk around for my job a lot and I wear heels (3in) to work most days so that can be a work out in it's self. I am going to start riding horses when I get below 200 pounds. Then I know that I will really start to tone up because of the muscles needed to ride performance horses.
How is life with your new tool? I am loving it !!! there are challenges but tell me would I have them still if I didnt have the surgery??? of course I would

Whats good on the food menu for you? lots of high protein bars, special K2O loving the shrimp 16 shrimp= 14 grams of protein thats the small ones in the ring...I still love salad and major cravings for pancakes...lol I know not so good, I never had them before and oh yeah anything that is spicy another thing I never used to have
What is the biggest challenge with the surgery? probably bread....very hard to not to be able to have bread that is the only thing that makes me feel NOT SO GOOD but I can tollerate toast so 1/2 slice here and there is ok I guess, I dont get sick or dump from eating sugar or high carb things so I guess that is the biggest challenge I have...once in a while I over eat and I feel sick but I am finally over the getting things stuck stage
Do you ever slip up and eat things you are not suppose to? hmmm, yes actually alot..I can now see the old habits of grazing and I catch what used to trigger them sometimes it is after I put a chip in my mouth but I do catch myself....I want to have carbonated drinks I have yet tried one since surgery I like crunchy things so I tend to steal a cookie or two or those 100 calorie packs and I tell myself...YOU FOOL WHAT ARE YOU DOING and throw them away
How's the exercise schedule looking? well I try to get out walking it is hard with four kids, but if I can get my 16 year old to go with me he usually takes the two youngest (3&1) with him to the swings and slide and lets me go off walking, I work from 4:30 am til 1:30 pm so it is too dark for me to walk to work I timed it because it is 2.2 miles away from my house so I want to walk to and from work but I am a weenie so I dont like to walk alone in the dark I joined a gym but ...again it is hard unless I want to pack up the kids to bring them and pay for the sitter... I know excuses excuses...ok ok I will start no excuses

Whats good on the food menu for you? ha ha, i'm reallllllllllllly into fast food right now and it sucks. i can tell i'm hurting w/o planning and preparing my foods.
What is the biggest challenge with the surgery? eating and exercise-**** that's everything!
Do you ever slip up and eat things you are not suppose to? hell yeah, i have only had like 4 sips of soda though-that's my biggest obstacle! the carbonation is SO refreshing! haven't had chocolate either except in granola bars-that's enough for me.
How's the exercise schedule looking? not good, my friend, not good.
Don't get me wrong, I have eaten sweets but I have been lucky that I stopped at 1 bite or 1 piece (M & M). It was enough for me to get the taste then move on.
I have noticed that it will get harder now too, we need to exercise. Even if I am exhausted from work when I get home I do so Wii fit stuff and feel energized and better after wards.
Just get back on track and you stick to writing down what you eat, if you do that you will think about what you are eating..
Keep up the great work- Chrissy

Whats good on the food menu for you?
I try to make foods that the whole family can make. If I am stuck out somewhere I like Mighty Taco -Low Carb chicken salad I can also tolerate wraps, but only a very smal portion. I like SB high protein bars for my snacks (10g Protein/bar) I also sometimes bring almonds or cheese sticks for snack.
What is the biggest challenge with the surgery?
I have to agree w/ Eating right ... because nothing makes me dump I have to be extra mindful of what I choose to eat. I am having a really hard time with my hair falling out and I need to find ways to get more protein within my calorie range. Very slow or so it seems, weight loss. Only 5 lbs this month.
Do you ever slip up and eat things you are not suppose to?
Yes of course, my 17 month old loves Vanilla Wafers, not alot of carbs, but I tried one, boy I could get in trouble with those, so I stay far away. Oh yeah, last weekend was the first time since before surgery that I had a drink, well the enemy was Jose Cuervo in shot form. Boy was I a sloppy mess :) I don't do it that often so maybe not so bad.
How's the exercise schedule looking?
Horrible - the only exercise I get is running from work to grab two younger ones from daycare and then off to baseball for my two older ones and run after the youngest all night at the diamonds. Then rush home to get baths and bed. Then I am crashed out for the night.
I know I know, that would help my weight loss and my jiggly dimpled body.
Great! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Everything ... mostly turkey burger, chicken (lean meats), yogurt, cheese!, oh yeah ... MILK! I love my milk!
What is the biggest challenge with the surgery?
Eating right ... 2 squares of chocolate WILL MAKE ME SICK ... hmm when will I learn lol
Do you ever slip up and eat things you are not suppose to?
Yes ... we are human ... I probably do it more than others, I try so hard not to. I don't have a lot, just a bite here and there. I am also not very strict as some with carbs.
How's the exercise schedule looking?
I am getting back on track to my 6 days a week ... the end of school the PTO (which I am in) has so much going on ... it's hard to get there. I maybe go 1 time a week ... school is out next week, I will kick it in gear then!

How's the exercise schedule looking?
I just updated my weight tracker and saw that I have 44 more pounds til goal of 165, I am 5'7 and have a large frame also. I think that is a good weight for me that I will be able to maintain, I would love to get to 145 but I think that I may look sickly at that point. I have been told that you will loose weight then your body will settle at a manageable weight and then you start your maintaining diet.
Everyone is doing so well!! Keep up the great work!!
