Meals/snacks
You may notice that I don't eat 100% protein like I'm supposed to. I have had a problem with that. For breakfast I usually do yogurt because I never get up on time to cook eggs. When I'm home I try to cook an egg and since I like mine really done I put one spoon of my girls' grits on top to make it moister.
For lunch, I've done different things. Today I had 1/3 of a Boston Market meatloaf frozen dinner. Yesterday I did a with 1/2 a flatout, deli roast beef, and dill pickle. Yummy and does well if you chew! That was my problem! I do a lot of soups and beans.
For dinner it's whatever hubbie's fixing usually. Tonight, turkey. Last night, boiled shrimp.
Snacks is a problem for me too. I ate almonds on the way to piano lessons today. I try to do cottage cheese but it's just not a favorite but I try to make myself eat it because of the protein. Before I loved cream cheese and olive sandwiches so I might make up some and that and do on a few crackers. I found no sugar added fudgesicles so I end my day with one of those. Perfect ending.

Karen,
I tried chicken linguini alfredo the other day. The chicken was my main focus because it was so moist and tender. However, I did eat several strands of pasta and before I knew it I was in pain!!! I think the pasta suddenly expanded in my belly. Wasn't a good idea! I tend to learn the hard way. My doc didn't recommend no carbs/starches only to put protein first!! If I have carbs I usually have fruit, veggies, etc. Breads tend to cause me pain right after I take a bite but something hard like a crouton or two on my salad don't bother me.
Your weight loss looks great. Congrats!!!
