Yoly,
I wasen't eating anything for a few weeks. Just this past Friday i started to feel like eating. I was nauseaus before. Nothing sounded good or was appealing to me. I tried to drink alot though. One day I would have like a tbsp of egg salad and another day I would have a rice cake with melted cheddar cheese. I felt crummy and developed a UTI. Then just last Friday I was in the mood for some food. I have made chix parm and chicken pot pie. I haven't ahd any trouble with foods yet and am not concentrating on low fat or low carbs yet. Since I am eating so little(like 1-2 tbsp still) I jus****ch my sugar(I am afraid of dumping). Doc said to just try foods to see what your pouch likes and not worry about numbers yet. I see him on 2/24 so we will see. So far I am down 36lbs in 5 weeks.
I have to say that I feel 100% better then I did last week though!

Hi All,
Glad to hear that everyone is hanging in there.  I've been tolerating some foods fine...kind of "hit and miss".  I put my liquid protein in my tea and that's been working pretty well so far.  But I've been having more problems with indigestion...like that gassy, reflux feeling.  I take reflux medication but it gets worse if I wait too long to eat.  Has anyone else been having this problem?

Definitely! Food has become an enemy to me. I eat so little now it's scary but when I do eat it makes me nauseous and gassy. Burping gas mainly because the other kind hasn't been a problem since before surgery. I also seem to have a lot of bile. When I eat, sometimes it comes up like to food I just ate dropped in and pushed it up. It's not pretty. Doc says just eat whatever I can to get the calories in because I can't do the "conventional methods" that seem to work for everyone else. This all is a bit scary to me now so I'm just hanging in there. Going for blood work tomorrow to check my levels and see where I am with that. Hopefully things aren't too bad!
