Anyone scheduled for JAN 28TH???
My surgery is on the 28th. I didn't have to do the liquid diet but had to do the low carb diet. I've lost 3 - 4 pounds this week. 13 lbs is great!!! I've got my pre op blood work and check up tomorrow. I'll know the official weight loss then.'
Please pray for me and I will do like wise. I want to change that area of my life also. Remember, that any Christian is a good Christian. God didn't take time to make a nobody.
Best of Luck.
Deborah
Deborah,
I would love to do a low carb diet! It's not that bad now, but there are times when I wish I could just chew something instead of drinking it. I will continue to pray for you too. I also have an appointment tomorrow for blood work and a few other appointments with the surgeon's nurse and another one on the 26th because they couldn't fit my appointments into one day. Can you believe that our big day is in a week? I am thinking all of the "normal" things like, "should I really be doing this to my body?" I know that I wouldn't have worked as hard as I have if I really didn't want this. I think I'm just afraid of the unknown. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on, and that is helping a lot! Any how, it's so great to meet you and I will be looking forward to updates on you soon!
Always,
Wendy
Stephanie!
Yea!! I'm so happy that your surgery got moved up! What an awesome feeling that must have been! The liquids are not that bad once you get past day 3. I haven't been great on the water part, but that's because I feel like I'm drinking a lot. Try soup broth too, that helps curve some craving along with the SF cream pops(only 40 cal)! I'll be praying for you Stephanie! You'll stay strong, I know it!
Always,
Wendy
