First post op visit today! Six days out and I feel great!
Today was six days post-op for me. I had my first visit and got my JP drain out and got moved to full liquids from clear and have lost eleven pounds! I am sooo happy!
I am in almost no pain and am able to walk a good bit. I am feeling back to normal now and am ready to really get going with my new lifestyle!

Erin,
I was thinking about you today and wondering how you were doing. My appt is Thursday morning. I can't believe how good I feel either! We are lucky! I started my mushie/puree stage yesterday. It was awesome! A little egg, some ricotta with sauce, banana. Today, cream of wheat and mashed pototoes with gravy.
Today is day #8 for me!
Just remember that you still had major surgery and not to do too much. Yesterday I went out to grocery store, and basketball game. I was wiped out! My back was really sore( which was weird) and I slept until 10am this morning!
So we still have to remember to rest and not do so much all at once.
It was great to hear from you.
Post again soon,
Lisa
