Surgery on the 29th, Pre-op on 21st - QUESTION

Is there any specific questions I should ask while at my surgeons office on wednesday since this is the last time I will see him before surgery?

Also - do I have any surgery buddies?

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery.  I would ask what your post-op diet and vitamin requirements are so that you can be prepared.  You may wish to ask how he/she will close your incisions.  Will you have a drain, will you need to do a swallow test?  These are things that I would have liked to ask.  Luckily, my surgery and post-op recovery has gone perfectly, so no biggee.

Isaiah54mom<----------------raises her hand. I am set for 8 AM on 1/29. I am getting a revision from the VBG to the DS I am going all the way to the "dark side"  I just had my preop today. I am having an open surgery because I have a huge hernia. another lil gift from my failed VBG. My surgeon was painting this dreary pic of what my recovery will be like. I am like "PUH-Lease" Mz Jojo is a survivor! I am ready...I will die if I don't do this so i am going in swinging.  I will keep you in my prayers
