Slow weight loss ( doing something wrong?)
Hi Lisa,
Congratulations on 12 lbs. What other weight loss plan would give those types of losses! I think the more you have to lose, the more you drop week over week. Celebrate the loss and don't worry about how much and how long. This is a journey that is to last a lifetime, so just sit back and enjoy the ride. I wish you the best on your journey and congrats again!

I had my surgery January 2nd and I did lose like 30 #s right of the back. Then I stopped and got worried why am I not losing and everyone said I was crazy you just lost 30 # well all week last week I lost nothing and I got on the scale this morning and lost 3 more pounds. What I didn't realize though is I was losing inches.Which I was told was a good thing to because the faster the weight comes off more saggy skin.Everyone is different and I learned that last week.Keep up the great work we are all in this together!

Really 12 pounds is a lot. Your BMI is only 33...you can not expect to loose as much weight as someone with a BMI of 50. Really, you would have not even qualified for surgery at some places. Being not that big, you have less to lose and it will come off a lot slower.
