Bri,

No no.... Don't give up !!!   Never give up !!!  I know it sucks but don't give up on a future of a healthier you.  I started on this journey in May of 2008, having to go through the 6 month required program first and then having to wait even longer for the appointment with the surgeon (which they don't let you make until your in your fifth month of the program) and then, they are so backed up on surgery dates, it took 2 more months of waiting for my surgery day to arrive (which is 1-23-09). I know it's frustrating, but please don't give up !!

Bri,

I know you must be upset but please don't give up on a chance to be a healtier you.  You have the urges of the holidays behind you so the next 3 weeks can be focused on what you have to do to be prepared for the surgery.

This liquid diet not only helps you to loose weight prior to the surgery, but it prepares your head for post op too.  I have essentially been on liquids since Jan 2nd, and I would get to change until I move to stage 3 late next week.  The gift is just three weeks away, you can do this.  Turn your disappointment into determination and fight the urges to give up!  You can do it, we're here to support and help you any way we can.

Big Warm Mom Hug,

Barb

Do not give up!  I just got home today and there were many time on my journey where i thought I wanted to quit and was it all worth it etc.  Even though I am hurting and having a hard time getting up and down, I wouldn't trade this for anything.

i promise it is worth it in the end.  Having to wait and fight will only make you appreciate it more!

I will keep you in my prayers!

I believe everything is about timing.  The Lord has his hands upon us and He knows what is best.  There may be a reason you will never know of why this worked out the way it did,  but believe that is all for your benefit.  Also, get some more activity in, this will help.  You only have fourteen pounds to go.  I'll be praying for you.  Drink lots of water too, that will help boost your metabolism.  Best wishes, Bobbi.
