WHAT AM I TO DO

ok, so my surgery is monday and i have only lost 6lbs! i cant believe this, ive been doing the liquid thing and am so scared that bcuz i havent lost 20 like the doc wanted he will cancel my surgery! i am so scared im sick over it, i go for my final weigh in on friday, ive come too far to lose this.

....I think that if bariatric doctors understand only ONE thing..it's this....if you could just drink liquids and lose all the weight, you would do it!! But obviously there is a problem with food and you need the Dr. to help you fix it. The Dr. understands this. The Dr. wants to make money and the Dr. doesn't want to rearrange his surgery schedule because you only lost Xlbs on a liquid diet...

just a thought...you are doing great to lose anything!!  I actually gained a few pds preop (xmas) and he didn't even weigh me before the surgery.

thanks so much for the comforting words, maybe i am being a lil hard on myself but when i read the packet my doc gave me awhile back it said the surgery could be post poned until i lose the required weight they asked,thats why im so nervous, but maybe they just say that to encourage weight loss, i sure hope so..

Another thing to consider is that sometimes when you are on all liquids, you stall in weight.  I was on Medifast and there would be weeks that I would only loose a lb.  If you are doing what your Dr wants you to do and following the plan, you should have no problems.

Hang in there and keep your eye on the prize.

honey you are being way to hard on yourself. Remember when you do the bowel prep, you will lose 10 lbs!!!  Its not fun but it helps with those last stubborn pounds before surgery. Hang in there, you are almost there!!!!!

10 pounds...really??
I hope so...i have not lost any weight the past few days. I don't get it. How could i NOT lose more weight?? Its just liquids!!

I just had my surgery Monday and was hoping for a 20lb weight loss before. No one weighed me the day of surgery. They asked what I weighed and I told them what I weighed that morning on my home scale, which is considerably less then Dr.s. I got in so quick because they changed my OR time from 2pm to 11am. So since it is a 45min drive for me they were waiting and I was in before I could think about it!
Don't worry about the loss, just follow diet until the day and do the prep and you will be good to go!

Maybe its that time of month and your just holding extra water weight?
I'm sure it is going to work out. 20 pounds is a lot to lose.

thanks guys! i will definitly let u all know how it goes tomorrow, today was my last day at work and saying goodbye to everyone really started to make it all real and im startin to get nervous!

I said goodbye to a lot of my co-workers and some of my customers on wed.
( i was off Thursday night and when i go in tonight i wont see them Sat morning)
Any-who..i thought saying goodbye to my boss was going to be hard...not so much. 
Nothing seems real. I guess it wont really seem real until i wake up AFTER surgery!! LOL

Hang in there sexy girl...we just have to get through the weekend!!
