Jan 22nd!!!
I just got my lap band surgery date and it's Jan 22nd! I can''t believe this was happening. Last month I wasn't even improved by my insurance yet. Now I have a date and will be home recovering by next weekend!
I have to admit, I am a little nervous. I've never had surgery before. I just requested the time off from work so it is starting to feel very real. I still worry that I am going to do something stupid and screw everything up, but I know that I have researched the surgery for years, that it is the right decision for me and I would rather be a little nervous and have the surgery than not have it simply because I am afraid of change.
That's the attitude I am tryingn to keep up anyway.
