Surgery on the 14th

Hi, Just thought I'd join the group since we will all be experiencing this in the same month.
I think I have everything ready to go.  Any last tips or things that were lifesavers that I may be forgetting.  My surgery is 4 hrs. away from home, so we will be at a hotel for a few days.

Welcome to the forum!  My surgery will be 150 miles away from my home, only about 2.5 hours but stll, we are thinking about getting a hotel room too!  Good luck!

Welcome!  I am on the 14th as well.  My surgery is about an hour and a half away as well.  Hubby and I are getting a room thenight before since I have to be at the hospital at 5am!

Hi I wanted to join also. My surgery is also scheduled for the 14th. I'm lucky my hospital is only ten minutes from home .  Good luck to all of us.

Hello fellow 14th'ers!!
Hospital is only 20 min away, also lucky in that respect. Today went on a cleaning duty! Would hate to see dust lying around when I can't get to it!  Actually hubby worried I would clean it!!! There is only 3 days to go!!!  I am getting anxious!  Drive careful to all of you driving afar and best of luck  on our journey to the loosing side of life!
