A little Scared..
hey,,,yes i feel the same way u do ...my surgery isn't until Tuesday...but i have been scared....and have had a few bad thoughts.....but we will get Thur this....ur not alone tho...i think we all kinda feel like that at some point....but i will keep u in my thought..and send u a lot of good thought...
I get what your feeling. Let me just say I don't even have an actual surgery date yet ( I just know it'll more than likely be the last week of January) and I am already freaking out. Its not about the actual surgery or the procedure or even the aftermath. I think its more being stuck in the hospital. I hope I can leave the next day. I would really like to be outta there quick.
Hi honey... (big smile!) My surgery is tuesday and I have been on this liquid diet for a few days and today I was a total witch so my husband and pets have backed off so I realized I have been acting out cause I am scared and feel alone.. I decided to add a little vodka to my crystal lite and feel much better now.. not that I suggest it, but I am more relaxed and have realized that we are all scared and the closer the date gets the worse it is.. I for one, am planning to look at the future, yes we have kids and families and we are all scare of the "what ifs" but in the end we will look back at this time and say god all those nerves and panic attacks for nothing.. we are going to be fine and healthy and FINALLY happy!!
god bless..don't worry honey you have our prayers and support..
take care

Lauren,
Hang in the surgi sister. Being scared is normal, because we're just human. We all fear what we don't know. My surgery is Thursday, I am excited about finally being able to stop this yo-yo dieting I have been doing for the last 20+ years, getting rid of my type II diabetes and starting a new healthier life but I'd be kidding if I said I wasn't nervous and a bit scared too. We will all get through this together and support each other after.
Our surgeons are skilled and well versed in their ability. Their patient is all that matters at the time. Our nurses are in their profession because they love caring for others. We all have the best in the business and we're going to reap the rewards.
I have a daughter named Lauren, and I'm sending you a big HUG.

THanks so much for all the support. I just think it has to do with the unknown and my beauitful babies. I just love them so much and want to be here for every step of thier lives !! I am ready for this even if the rest of my family isn't. I know I can do it just a bit nervous but starting to get calm. I feel much better after talking to my friend Tina (CoffeeBrown01) that just hers done on Tuesday. She did great and her recovery is coming along !! WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER ..
