I saw some posts up about time people are taking off work, everyone is different, I am taking a month off work!! Hi Jessica. It is nice to meet you. That three days will fly by. Have you stocked your cabinets yet?

Hello Emily

Well I have to say I'm one of those people who waits until the last minute for everything!! I know its a bad habit, I am actually going to get things for the cabinets today and as for vitamins and stuff, well i work at a pharmacy at one of the hospitals here so whenever i need anything i just order it and its there the next day so there's a little advantage there. Do you have everything already? See everyone later!

Hi, Jessica!
Welcome to the Jan. forum! My surgery is on the 6th, and I'm getting more nervous by the hour. I think that all the preparations are what's making me nervous- I have no doubts at all that having the surgery is what I need and want to do. It's just making sure that everything is done beforehand.

I agree with you- I'm also very excited about the month off of work! That will give us time to be feeling better and to get used to our new way of eating. Not to mention I won't have to be getting up early and going out in the snow in the mornings- although you don't have to worry about that part!

Good Luck with your surgery, and be sure to post on this forurm so we know how you're doing.
