I have a surgery date--Jan 5th!

Hi everyone!  I am fairly new to the site and just wanted to let everyone know I have a date finally after going through all the hoops with my insurance to get approved.  I am excited, nervous, and anxious all at once.  I am the mother of four boys and am worried about the recovery period and how I will be able to get what I normally done or I guess I should say I am worried about my husband trying to get what I normally do done while I am recovering.  I am having the laproscopic rny.  I am looking forward to getting on the losers bench and making friends going through it with me.  I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

congrats on getting a date!! your the day before me which is awesome....the loser bench will be a lot of fun and i cant wait to get there too...dont worry too much about recovery...this is the time you get to be waiyed on hand and foot and not you doing it for your family. take advantage of that it doesnt happen everyday ;)....hope all goes well for you

Hello there i am also fairly new on the forum here and i just wanted to let you know my surgery date is also on January 5th!!! i know its almost here and i am excited and just a little bit nervous also.. I know the feeling about the husband doing the housework... i told him he's going to have to clean, cook and wash clothes and he just OPENED his eyes and said..ok? ha ha i know he will try his best.. well hope everything goes well and we will both see each other on the losers bench!!
